Late influx for the weekly Conference call. Lot of thing happening and we keep our fingers crossed that OpenEMR with all the new Developments will succeed in getting things ready for the new Government qualifications.
There are new growth charts for fetal and newborn with WHO quality.
These Chart might be a valuable extra in the Vitals or a separate Growth Chart Module. Please could you make this as āsomething to includeā in the TODO list of OpenEMR?
It might attract new groups of OpenEMR interested specialties, but also for extra info gathered for long time USERS of OpenEMR like Midwives, Gynecolists, Family Physicians.
For the 9/13/14 conference call (note these are not official notes; just going from memory):
Attendees: Brady, Jan, Lou
Brady review the ongoing MU2 testing. Unofficially (from emails from Tony), it appears that OpenEMR has passed 15 of total 45 items (note that the code for some of these items is still under code review). There are 7 more items that would pass, but didnāt get to testing (will be done at next testing date). This does not include items within ZHās Care Coordination module, which will likely start getting tested at the next testing date. Many thanks to Tony and Ensoftek for their work on this.
Jan and Brady discussed the Clinical Decision Rules engine project, which is adding plans creation/selection in the gui. It is currently undergoing revision after 1st review.
For the 10/18/14 conference call (note these are not official notes; just going from memory; I also may not of listed all attendees):
Attendees: Brady, David, Lou, Stephen, Tak, Vamsi, Virginia
Brady and Vamsi(Ensoftek) reviewed the ongoing MU2 testing. Most recent testing day with Infogard was on 10/15/14 and OpenEMR has now passed 23 of total 45 items (note that the code for some of these passed items is still under code review). Many thanks to Ensoftek, Tony and ZH Healthcare for their ongoing work on this. I placed the spreadsheet from Ensoftek onto the wiki that tracks the items and also updated the certification wiki page accordingly: http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/OpenEMR_Certification_Stage_II_Meaningful_Use#Completion_Barometer
According to Vamsi(Ensoftek), the next MU2 testing date will likely be late November since the remaining items involve extensive work. Additionally, many of the items require third party software and use of standardized test data. Vamsi is hoping to have a call for MU2 stuff only next week sometime during the week in order to step back and plan what needs to be done. He will send an email to Tony and ZH; Iāll also try to make it and announce it for others whom want to be present.
There was a lot of discussion regarding the CQM items, of which Virginia has a lot of expertise in and provided very helpful education and advice.
Although this is a short note, this was the longest conference call almost lasting 90 minutes
