Hi,

For the 3/21/15 conference call (note these are not official notes; just going from memory):

Attendees: Brady, Jack, Jit, Lou, Tony

Tony discussed the SXSW conference in Austin, TX where he had a exhibit booth( http://sxsw.com/exhibitions/sx-health-and-medtech-expo ). Hereā€™s a cool quick interview of Tony at the OEMR/OpenEMR booth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bENIYawAB4E

MU2 was discussed. Next testing date isnā€™t yet scheduled, and will be sometime after April 1st. Things are moving along. Main issue is how to complete the CQM items and currently awaiting quotes from several vendors. May need to ā€œpushā€ for more donations since this will require a sizable amount of work.

OEMR organization was discussed, which is currently predominantly being organized by Tony. Discussed plans to strengthen it (with meetings and new more active board members) which is felt to be needed for future grant proposals and funding requests and to help take some of the work off of Tonyā€™s plate.

Hereā€™s a updated MU2 barometer:

Until next weekā€¦

Hi,

I just posted some notes above of the meetings. Hopefully it satisfies your curiosity. There is always the option of calling into the conference call and not saying anything (ie. the fly on the wall technique)

Is this conference call still going on? I called in today but nobody was there.

Hi Mark,

I have been slacking on this lately. Need to get these going again especially with MU2 deadline looming. Iā€™ll plan to send reminders out and show for the calls.

Is there any chance we could move this meeting back to a weekday (or weekday evening) or, at least, Sunday afternoon? Saturdayā€™s are not good, too many family related activities that canā€™t be avoided

Guess we need a poll. Daytime on weekends is generally bad for me also due to other activities. Any evening works better for me.

But I suggest using the forums as much as possible. For example I know it must have felt weird to solicit the CQM work there but I think itā€™s working better that way.

Evening of Wednesday or Friday would be best for me.

Wed or Friday evenings would work for me as long as itā€™s not too late. Remember we have East coast members and some even farther off the timezone, the three of us are West coastā€¦

I agree that keeping as much on the forum as possible is a necessity, but sometimes a conversation is what is needed to shake out an idea.

Cool, in that case I suggest Wednesday evenings, 4pm Pacific time or later.

Hi,
On Wednesday, I can likely make 6:00pm, possibly make 5:00pm and definitely not make 4:00pm(Pacific Standard Time).

Are we going to change the time this week? Or Add Wednesday as an option? Canā€™t hurt to have both.

bradymiller wrote on Tuesday, October 13, 2015:

Good plan to do both.

Added Wednesday to the wiki:

Can see how the attendance turns out.
