Upgrading OpenEMR from 6.1 to 7.0

Hi,

I think I found an inconsistency in the wiki upgrade instructions.
This page:

https://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/Linux_Upgrade_6.1.0_to_7.0.0

is missing instructions to copy the following directories to the new installation directory:

* Move all directories for each site

* openemr/sites/default/documents
* openemr/sites/default/edi
* openemr/sites/default/era
* openemr/sites/default/letter_templates

It only instructs the user to move the default/documents directory, but it should also advise the user to move the other directories. Furthermore, I wonder if it ought to be, “copy” rather than “move”?

I will be happy to update the wiki if you want.

Sandra

Oh, I see, so it is the multisite upgrade instructions that need to be modified!
Wait, I must still need to move those files to the documents directory then. I must have missed that a few upgrades ago!

WOW, I missed this dating back to the 5.0.1 to 5.0.2 upgrade instructions.
I read those instructions wrong, or might have just used the multisite instructions.

I wonder if it would be a good idea to merge regular and multisite instructions. After all, it is not like OpenEMR requires two different types of installations.

Maybe the multisite upgrade instructions could be a separate paragraph of the upgrade wiki.
