Hi , Id like to know if it’s a way to use it for vets.
The main difference is that every “Pacient” has an Owner, and every onwner could have more than 1 pacient
I don’t know if is not simple to make that plausible
Then vaccine reminders are important, I don’t know if it’s easy to find all the immunization registries send massive emails with openemr
There are no free and open source EMR for veterinary use.

Hi Jalea,

There are different ways to use a EMR for vet activities.
A simple way could be to use the insurance administration : pet’s owner is define as an insurance AND/OR define pet’s owner as the parent of the patient (the pet) with the same insurance ID (for the billing part).
