I also signed up for iPrescribe, which sent me a dongle. They are probably planning to use the ‘Practice Fusion’ business model-- offer the service free, get a bunch of customers, then institute a charge.

iPrescribe has a BAA, so as a covered entity, you’re compliant w HIPAA.
