Win / XAMPP server - Patient portal not work

I have installed XAMPP on a windows 7 unit.

XAMPP installed on drive d:
OpenEMR Dir: “d:/OpenEMR/xampp/htdocs/” - (I moved it from d:/OpenEMR/xampp/htdocs/openemr - but still doesn’t work)

Everything in OpenEMR works ok. When I access the “Patient portal”, the new page has a message:

Check that mysqld is running.

ERROR: Could not connect to server!

What web address are you using to get to the “Patient Portal”?
And did you turn on the Patient Portal in Administration->Portal?
