Why can't i see the Forms from Form Administration in the Layout Editor to edit

I registered several Forms from Form Administration and also installed DB and also enabled. But i am not a ble to see the forms in the Layout. I wanted to make some modifcations.

hi anthony,
which forms would you like to modify? - there are one or two other places where forms can be modified in addition to the Layout options, as an example questionnaires, but some of these are done outside of the UI.

Hi Ruth,

Thank you for your response! I’d like to learn more about modifying forms outside of the UI, specifically which tools and locations I should look into for this. Any guidance on how to approach changes to questionnaires or other forms that aren’t accessible directly through the Layout Editor would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your help!

hi anthony.
i’ve made all three kinds of forms described below

i’ve made questionnaires using the NLM builder at https://lhcformbuilder.nlm.nih.gov - this generates json files that are then imported into openemr via the menu “miscellaneous → portal dashboard → templates”
i have some guidance on this somewhere - i’ll try to find it

lbf forms are done via php code - examples are in the source code at interface/forms - i think the files in ‘LBF’ might be a skeleton to make new forms from. the documentation for developing these is at The Forms API - OpenEMR Project Wiki

LBV Forms - OpenEMR Project Wiki is the document for developing Layout Based Visit forms, these are done via the UI

btw, you mentioned wanting to change particular forms - which ones were they?
