Hi…
While testing out the Document Template, I downloaded the Hipaa file from the wiki and uploaded it to the document template. Now when i go to a patient summary -> Documents-> Patient Information and from the drop down i try to download that Hipaa file by clicking FETCH…it just gives me a white page and nothing happens. Help Please!
I am in Windows 8 with xampp package and using openemr 4.1.3 dev tip. Thanks

Hmm, this article suggests the mime_type stuff does not work with Windows:
I may have to hard-code some stuff that deduces mime types from filename extensions. Which extensions do you care about?

OK I hard-coded some mime types for the case where the relevant functions are not available. This is pushed to SF.
If it still doesn’t work, just post up the Fatal Error line(s) from the log. Don’t need to see notices and such.

Another Issue:
When I upload, MS Word files in .doc or .docx format, the address is replaced/parsed well but the patient name is not replaced, nor the phone numbers or the patient problems. Tested this out with the HIPAA document from the wiki after converting it to .doc format and even made a new document myself in MS word in .doc format…both showed same effect.

That’s probably the problem where you need to copy-and-paste in the keywords from a text file instead of typing them into the document. If you type them in by hand, they can end up with embedded XML tags which causes the searching for them to fail.

Suppose I don’t have to show the steps, but it is good to evaluate, and compare with the result of a local version problem or a Demo. This is an OpenOffice file and not an MSWord file.

And I tried to make a MSWord2007 document extension .doc and it will not open in MSWord2007 the version I created it in. So yes there is an issue.
Is OpenEMR renaming the file with an extra and wrong extension?

WP documents must be in OpenDocument format. Not sure if Word 2007 does that. OpenOffice or LibreOffice will.
