When trying to update patient DOB on new install

This page just hangs with no way forward when trying to change the patient’s DOB. Does anyone know what makes this window popup?

The doc changed the field type to optional and this screen went away.

Sounds like a bug or Globals misconfig’ed ie Modify Patient Form is set to Zend but module not config’ed
