Hi

A Clinician is one who involved in clinical practice. A Physician is a professional who licensed to practice medicine.

In general, A physician is a clinician, but not all clinicians are physicians.

With respect to OpenEMR, Physician is a user who has more access privileges, and clinician is a user with less privileges than physician.

You can also review and fine tune the access privileges of all users under “Administration->ACL”.

Thanks
