This has not been a fun ride. WayStar has ghosted the project at this point. It is not high on their things to do list. It has been almost a month since I last heard from the engineer assigned. I will post another update mid February.
Thank you for doing this, @juggernautsei . I work with prior authorizations regularly, and the process varies significantly—different requirements across payors, across plans within the same payor, and even across procedures for the same payor.
I wanted to share this link in case it is helpful.
Sound like horse hockey to me. I will believe it when I see it. Thanks for sharing. It might explain why WayStar clammed up on this.
