We are trying to implement OpenEMR as a service for multiple doctors and we have encountered the following problem:
Assume that we have a certain patient’s data (including appointments). The way things are right now, two (or more) different providers can see each other’s appointments with this specific patient; of course, this applies to all patients. We would like to configure OpenEMR so that individual providers who provide health care to the same patient do not see each other’s appointments with the specific patient. In a nutshel: we want to ensure that different providers who use our service will only see their own appointments and not other providers’ appointments.
What can be done about it?
