This issue was fixed in 4.1.2, but I still can’t edit IN/OUT events. The event block is covered by the white time slot highlight. If I position the mouse just right (pixel perfect) I can double click the event to make an edit, but my employees can’t get the hang of it.
I’ve already tried deleting all future IN/OUT events and recreating, but the problem still remains. To my knowledge, the calendar is properly configured for two service locations, one billing location and one provider. Any ideas on what I need to do to get this fixed?
This is occurring on the day view. I recall deleting some calendar files as instructed by the wiki during a previous upgrade, but did not see it mentioned during this upgrade. Could I have possibly missed a step?
Edit: per the 4.1.0 patch wiki page:
Remove all files and directories in the openemr/interface/main/calendar/modules/PostCalendar/pntemplates/compiled/ directory.
Is this still something that needs to be considered when running an upgrade/patch?
After the unwanted time has been deleted, the desired time has to have the Repeats box checked and a future day entered in the Edit dialog box.
Changed the Out time last week on my copy and it was nice to see that it was fixed. (Thanks, developers).
Did a simulation on the 4.1.3 Demo and it worked fine. Could not check the 4.1.2 Demo because someone change the login.
Video explanation is a great idea. Would suggest some closeups because the text is too small to read when viewing from a small device like this little netbook.
Sorry for the terrible video quality. Videobam’s compression made it barely watchable. I’m not sure I follow your advice though. Our IN/OUT events are scheduled to repeat every week until December 2050. I tried to delete the events that were on the calendar prior to upgrade and replace them exactly as they were. No change in behavior. The only change I’ve noticed since the upgrade is that the IN/OUT event will highlight in all black if the mouse is placed just right, but not the yellow highlight as seen in the Demo.
After the upgrade the Calendar did not have the start and end time that was in 4.1.1 (14) and you want those times again in 4.1.2 (1), is that correct?
Or are you just concerned about the color of the highlight of the mouse-over?
The issue is that once the start and end events are set, they cannot be edited unless you position the mouse in a very particular spot. This has been a known issue that (I believe) was first fixed in the 4.1.2 upgrade. I attached some pictures to demonstrate:
Screen 1) 4.1.1 white time slot highlight blocks the ability to edit the IN/OUT event
Screen 2) 4.1.2 mouse placed just between the IN block and first available appointment time
Screen 3) 4.1.2 mouse placed just below the OUT block
It is very tricky to the get the mouse in that exact spot to edit the event. If the mouse is placed directly over the event, the white time slot highlight is displayed as seen in the 4.1.1 screenshot.
Okay, now I don’t know what to think. Without making any further changes and just after these screenshots were taken, it works properly. This was all done on a virtual test server. I’m going to wipe and try again to see what happens. Maybe there was some residual settings in place from 4.1.1 that were flushed on reboot…?
Finally got around to messing with this again. Seems the browser cache needed to be cleared after the upgrade. Wanted to update just in case anyone else has this problem.
