Does anyone know how simple it is to upgrade from 2.7.1 to 2.7.2? I am fairly new to openemr and never done an upgrade before. How would i go about doing this?

Better to upgrade to current CVS than to 2.7.2… better features and fixes.
Start with a complete backup – make real sure you can get back to where you were in case anything goes wrong.
Then you’ll want to use the relevant database upgrade scripts in the openemr/sql directory to bring the database schema up to date. After that you can replace your OpenEMR web directory with the new one, and then make appropriate changes to interface/globals.php, library/sqlconf.php, includes/config.php and anything else that has been customized.
