Unable to save patient records

Hi

I am no longer able to save new patient record because I lost both the “search” and "save"buttons in the “search or add patient” screen.

If my only option to remedy this problem is b y reinstalling the program, can you please tell me how to save the patients records so I can import it later? It will be too time consuming to reenter the 500 or so patients and encounters.

Please give more specifics, such as:
1) OpenEMR Version
2) Oeprating System
3) OpeneMR package (source vs xampp-windows vs ubuntu package vs appliance)
4) Did you do anything specific before losing this functionality?
5) Were you placing with the Administraion->ACL stuff at all?
