Too Many Redirects error on creating a new patient record

Situation
On pressing the save button for creating a new patient record we get a ‘too many redirects’ error message. This only happens on creation; not when saving an edit to an existing record.

OpenEMR Version
I’m using OpenEMR version 7.0.0

I’m using: Brave, Chrome & Edge

Ubuntu 22.04

We did not resolve this issue with a fix. It was either a failed Ubuntu auto update patch on Apache. The moral of this story is don’t allow auto update patches.

We are unsure othat this was a factor. In the absecence of anything else a process of elimination is required.

The only other significat change was the addition of 3 fields to the demographic form to hold GP details.

To get the system operational I reverted to a backup prior to the patches and Inserted the patient data by SQL after dleting the designated fields and all is well.

We will use the current reapired system to clone and run some more tests.

The backup system was patched and then we inserted the missing data. I will update in due course. Has anyone else had issues like this?
