Teaching clinical features and functions of OpenEMR

Hello all,

I am a member of a consortium working on a Department of Labor grant; a goal of the grant is to make Health IT content easier to teach by creating and disseminating resources for use at community colleges. The grant that has allowed us to develop (among other things) some teaching materials for OpenEMR that would be appropriate for early clinical students, like MAs and nurses. We would like to get this material into as many hands as possible, and believe this material would be of interest to the OpenEMR community. Currently, we have developed several word documents (with screen shots, instructions, and assessment items), which have also been formatted for the Canvas LMS. We hope to have some HTML5 simulations by early winter as well.

Where on the wiki or the forum would you recommend we share this content?

You can learn more about our consortium and efforts here: http://hiteducation.org/

Thanks for your help!

Sandlin

Hi,

This sounds great. Best place for this would be on the wiki:
http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/OpenEMR_Wiki_Home_Page

You can request a wiki account here (which I will gladly confirm):
