I need to modify the fee sheet and include some jpg files. Has anyone aded jpg files to the printout. This will be a custom fee sheet and I am looking for some pointers and/or hidden features of the fee sheet printout.

Thanks

Terry

If we talking about Reports/Blank Forms/Superbill - Fee Sheet, I would think the .pdf can be placed in OpenOffice or LibreOffice, then brought back to OpenEMR via Templates.

While in OO/LO, the .pdf can be edited & .jpeg files can be added.

Our old Practice Management Software printed demographic & insurance info with outstanding balance or credit balance & special notations (like the account having been turned over in the past). We would select from a list of ICD’s & CPT’s & Front Desk would collect copay/coinsurance/outstanding balance.

The duplicate, which served as a receipt for payments, a record of the charges, Clinical Summary (for MU, on the back) & at times the documetation of the next appointment; is given to the patient upon discharge.

With OpenEMR none of the blank spaces is populated with data from Demographics or the Fee Sheet if charges had been entered prior to the patient’s departure. We assume that you are not asking about this aspect.

If we are still talking about the Eye Guys, it would be a lot easier to get a copy of the Superbill that they are using now, introduce it into OO/LO & incorporate via Templates.

Because no Demographic/Fee Sheet data populate the blank Superbill, it’s cheaper & more efficient to continue using the old superbill, provided it has been pre-printed (not printed in-house).

Another nice feature with pre-printed forms is that they are available with carbonless duplicates that are available in a different color. Our original is blue lettering on white while patient’s copy is blue on yellow.

There are times when a patient would remark that no receipt had been given them for a payment; but when asked about the yellow sheet, a light bulb comes on.

They print them with the patients information on them, I really don’t have anyone that prints the blank forms. Example attached .

I presume that if blank Superbill/Fee Sheet is not used, it must have been extensively customized to include patient info.

Feesheet.png looks nothing like anything in OpenEMR.

Strange to see only one line for diagnoses relating to the cornea, even if they specialize in External Diseases. (Just an observation, explanation not super important.)

It is from their current system. The current method in OpenEMR is to print the feesheets with the patient selected by going to popups and the current feesheet in OpenEMR gives demographic info at the bottom.

Thanks for the info. Learned something new.

This thread is about uploading an image to Documents, then making the necessary changes in the relevant .php.
