Suggestion/Wish Re Reports Funcion

If I could have you guys make one change to OpenEMR it would be to more easily choose what is printed in the Reports section. I spend quite a lot of time checking and unchecking boxes to get the reports to come out as I want them for particular situations. They are set up for getting out a mass report from multiple visits, but the system is time consuming when I need a report limited to certain items.

The most important change would be to the column Encounters & Forms, with an option to check or uncheck all. It would also be helpful to be able to have similar choices for Medical Problems and Medications, along with a choice to include all versus only active.

The most common use for this would be in making it easier to generate  patient summaries. I’m using the report function to generate a summary for most office calls per the meaningful use requirements. In these cases I want all the active medications and medical problems, but only want certain forms printed for the current office call. I currently have to uncheck all the old office calls which get checked because other issues are selected, along with unchecking the portions of the current office call I don’t want printed in the summary. There are similar problems for cases where I want to send someone only the most recent progress note, along with the medication and medical problems lists.
