Would it be possible to add the choice of “All” to the “Justify” drop down list, which would put all diagnoses into the justify box at once?

Why would you want that?
Suppose you have 3 or more diagnosis which is just about everyone of my patients.
When completing the Fee Sheet in order to justify the diagnosis you have to click on the justify box which brings down a drop box in which you have to choose the diagnosis. If you have 3 diagnoses you have to repeat these steps 3 times.
Having the selection of “all” will reduce these steps, reducing clicks, saving time.

Hello nursejeff,
It can implemented in case of your compulsory needs for that particular option,it requires few code customization in order to add “All” option under justify drop down box in fee sheet.
Thanks

Hi Visolve,
I was giving this suggestion for the programmers and designers of OpenEMR to consider when updating OpenEMR to make is more efficient for the needs of the user, in the hope that this suggestion would help to improve the product.
I do not have the knowledge or skill to make any code changes myself.
Jeff
it’s a great idea @nursejeff, thanks for the suggestion
@visolveemr are you going to get this in? If not I’ll make the code change and get it in next week.
Hello everyone.
I just updated to the most up to date version of OpenEMR.
I wanted to bump this issue since I see that this feature has not been implemented.
Thanks again.

For request such as this you’re best off to open a feature request issue. We developers generally look at issues when developing a new release. Request on forum will generally get lost or forgotten. At least for me, this is the case.
hi @nursejeff, have you tried the Review feature in the fee sheet? It will grab the most recent billed item for the person and populate the fee sheet. It’s a great time saver.
I think he wants to justify all cpt codes at one time with the same justifying codes.
right on, could be useful for now if there’s a lot of follow up visits for the same dxs and services
or even just 1 follow up visit
Hello @stephenwaite and thanks for the advise to use the review and I definitely will for now on.
@sjpadgett is correct though. There is a Clear button to remove codes but there is no Add All choice to add them all at once.
totally, just wanted you to be aware of the review
So this would be useful and/or might commonly be used by our base? Ya think it is worth squeezing into patch 3?
no? lol, sorry @nursejeff
adding the problems to the patient chart and optionally associating them with an encounter accomplishes a variety of tasks that can prove useful later
if they’re in the chart they will pop up in the fee sheet for example
That was me who asked and i’m speaking only of adding justifying codes to feesheet with an All option…
My opinion, problems should be up to encounter provider and not billing clerks who will most likely be simply adding problems to justify procedures. imo, that is the doctors task base on their permission(acl) sets.
Where do I open a feature request?
Hit New issue button and select Feature request
