I got really bored and attempted to install Openemr 8.2.0 after turning on dev mode on an HP chromebook. I mean, what could go wrong?
It’s got amd processor and 4 gb of ram? Plus the standand storage is like 32 gb. I was pleasantly surprised by the nimble yet high use of my instance in the old chromebook. Ram usage with openemr logged into, wasn’t evening using a gig of memory.
Im not sure if it’ll ever be production ready but the dang software works on this old chromebook in something called crostini.
And Im not sure how doing this could help anybody in a real scenario…unless you have a chromebook plus or some sort of new device called googlebook? Basically you need better hardware to run a full fledged openemr I’d think.
Any thoughts or concerns?
