I seek suggestions for a user interface widget to be embeded in the OpenEMR patient documents UI.  The purpose of the widget is to display a multi-column pick-list of documents.  Oemr code will launch and populate the widget with 0 or more documents,  the user must be able to select one or more of documents in the pick-list to be further acted upon by a Oemr code.

Not enough information.  What’s the big picture of what you are trying to accomplish?  What about the current documents UI is inadequate?  Do you care that documents are organized hierarchically?
