How to do it?
How to search for a particular word or report or value in clinical notes… there could be thousands of clinical notes accumulated over yrs…

Yes, it would be nice, wouldn’t it?
Thing is most of the encounter clinical notes are stored in a specific database table that belongs to the form the notes are made in, while other notes are stored in tables that are used for other functions. And the columns in each form’s table are different, depending on what sort of form the table is storing the data for. And if you add a non- default form to the collection it adds another table, so the search tool would need to be expandable.
But, as they say in the computer biz, ask not if it can be done, ask if it’s worth the effort to do it.

on the dashboard under Report tab
this is only a per patient search though

Awesome! … it’s there. 
If this search field can be brought also n the encounter section in clinical notes , can be used more frequently to search thro notes and findings etc.
