Cute.
Does someone actually sponsor Saturday conference calls on OpenEMR? They would be handy to answer a bunch of little questions that I don’t want to clog the list with.
If so, please provide a link.
Thanks,
Dave

Ahoy Dave,
The call group began with OEMR board members and key developers and the agendas were typically directed at problem solving on certifications, fund raising, medical IT student projects, security, and geeky discussions of bugs and programming that are generally over my head. Currently the agenda is MU2, MU2, and MU2. The calls are announced via an e-mail list. Others may wish to fill in here how one gets on the list.
“Little questions” are exactly what this forum is for (none are too little) and answers posted here benefit a great many more folks than would a phone conversation.

Hi,
Calls are every Saturday and open to all:
http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/OpenEMR_Weekly_Conference_Call_Details
I try(if don’t forget) to announce it via the forums (https://sourceforge.net/p/openemr/discussion/202506/thread/9e2ce11c/) and via the email list. Just let me know if you want to be on the email list (send me an email to brady.g.miller@gmail.com ).

Thanks, Jack,
I’m still trying to feel out the group’s tolerance for “silly” questions. I don’t want to be a pest, but finding things can be difficult when you don’t know where things are documented.

I look for easy questions from noobs as it gives me a (false?) sense of genius and empowerment to post answers in this forum. Go ahead, make my day. Jack
