Restore extraction problems

I am attempting to restore my backup emr_back.tar file when I do so I get the following error;
extracting /home/emr_backup.tar
extractince /tmp/emr_backup.tar.gz…
tar (child)L …/openemr.tar.gz: cannot open: no such file or directory
tar (child): Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error is not receoverable: exiting now
error: tart could not extract ‘tmp/emr_backup/openemr.tar.gz’

OpenEMR Version
I’m using OpenEMR version 4.2.1 restored recenty

both chrome and firefox

Operating System
ubuntu 16.4

Did you check the logs?
No Which logs?
Was there anything pertinent in them? Paste them here (surround with three backticks (```) for readability

No. Which logs should i check - i am new to this? Tyran

Nothing is contained in the openemr log.
I managed to find that.

I found the following in the sys log
April 18th [sr 0…tag #0 failed rsulst …
…harware err [current]…
…logical unit failed self test…

Does this mean my dvd is bad ? Ths only happens with the tarball files. I Was able to transfer other files. Liek the restore macro. Please advise
