Requests to Change Meeting Time

fsgl wrote on Monday, March 14, 2016:

Saturday 11 a.m. Pacific Time is inconvenient for those with family obligations & developers who travel abroad (it’s approximately 1:30 a.m. in India) while on business trips.

Sam Hameed has requested Wednesday. Brady’s accommodation to this request is 7 a.m., which was acceptable to Sam. Brady’s day job precludes regular office hours.

Submit your choice so that a consensus can be reached, preferably before the next meeting.

In addition to the quorum requirements, the By-laws stipulate requirements for various voting scenarios. If there are not enough people, nothing will get done & everyone’s time will be wasted.

7 am Pacific is not good for me as I work late hours. (which I said on during the meeting). I can do 8-9 am pacific on any day of the week.

Or I can do late afternoon or early evening on Mon/Wed/Thursday.

6 or 7 pm is good for me.

During weekdays, a starting time of anytime before 7:00 am or after 6:00 pm PST will work for me.

Wednesday afternoon or evening would be fine, thanks.

Request is to NOT do weekeds. Any other time is ok

OK then let’s move the Board Meeting to 6pm Pacific on 2nd Wednesday of each month.

fsgl wrote on Thursday, March 17, 2016:

The consensus is coalescing around the second Wednesday, 6 p.m. Pacifiic Time.

We should not go beyond 6 p.m. PDST, unless snoozing sounds from the East coast during the meeting are not considered problematic.

Folks who are traveling to India should not find 8:30 a.m. to be too onerous.

We’ll wait 2 more weeks for late comers.

No late requests, so the consensus is second Wednesday, 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

Will remind all involved of the change via the Meeting Bulletin Board thread & email next week.

It is helpful because we need a quorum to conduct business.

There has been a drop-off in attendance.

I didn’t respond to the reminder because there is a concern about Google tracking.
