Where can I find instructions on how this feature works? My category is set to Unassigned and I tried to find where to edit this and how the overall feature works and I have not had any luck…

Depends on which OpenEMR version you are using. Are you using 4.1.0 or 4.1.1(4.1.1 is much more clear and functional in this feature)?

Hi,
In 4.1.0, you toggle the REportable toggle on in Adminsitration->Services and then use the report at Reports->Syndromic Surveillance (note this is geared towards diagnostic codes in 4.1.0 and is a pain to know what you’ve selected).
In 4.1.1, again you select these in Adminsitration->Services, but can do either Service or Diagnostic reporting; the actually report to see this is shown when you hover over the toggle. Also note it’s way easier to see what you have selected, because you can filter for these items on your search in that Services gui.
