Hello all. I have just spun up my openEMR using a Docker container on an AWS EC2 instance. I’ve been going through and changing configurations to align to needs.
As I have created document categories, there are times I wish I could move or reorganise the subcategories, or just change the folder hierarchy. I cannot see any way to do this, and my searching of forums etc has been unfruitful.
Is this possible at all? Thanks in advance.
Hi @drcharlesjenkinson, it’s under Admin->Practice->Practice Settings->Document Categories.

Thank you for that - I am able to create new subcategories by that menu. I was after the ability to rearrange the subcategories once they are created.
Fair enough. Is there a way to shift categories into other categories when they are already created?
I can make subcategories, but I’d like to move some categories into another one as a subcategory, and some of my patients in the database have documents already stored in those categories.
I can screenshot in the morning for added clarity if necessary.
Pretty sure that would be a new feature or have to be done with a custom script.
