Regarding openmr and Freeb

I don’t know if my ignorant answers help, since I am not a developer as such.  Just a guy trying to make my clinic work.

I have just completed initial review of the current development version of OpenEMR (2.9.1) working as a standalone under Windows XP running Xampp.  I did so because the clinician does house calls and no Internet server system is fast enough with rural com speeds.

The 2.9.1 version does not use the SQL-Ledger for the EOB tracking, which will be a huge problem eliminator vs 2.9.0, at least under Windows.  But both versions will produce the X12 text file and HCFA 1500 pdf printout for the billing.

From what I have learned, you decide where to place those files from within your browser.  I am not sure what you are seeking for the freeb file transfers.  The data is kept in the mysql databases.
