1.) When adding a patient to a provider’s schedule, the provider’s “preferred category” is not displaying in the appointment pop up window. This functionality works with the original calendar layout but not the Outlook calendar.
2.) Calendar categories that do not have time assigned to their duration are causing patients to disappear from the calendar when switching their appointment category to the category with no assigned time. I just tried this with the online demo for the calendar category “No Show.” The patient disappeared from the calendar after switching their category to “No Show.”
This also happens to any custom calendar categories we have added (i.e. “Re-Scheduled”, “Cancelled”). The problem goes away if I add time to the duration of the category (i.e. 15 minutes) other than zero. After adding time to these categories, when switching an appointment time to these categories, the patient no longer disappears. In the original calendar layout, categories would display on the calendar regardless of whether or not time was assigned to the category. Further, it doesn’t make sense to assign a duration of time for a category like “Re-Scheduled” or “No Show” due to the fact that appointments by different providers may not have the same length of time assigned for the type of appointment.
3.) I have some time slots on the calendar where one patient is scheduled for a given time (i.e. 11:15) and the patient takes up the whole line on the calendar. Then I have another time slot for the same provider (i.e. 2:00) with one patient scheduled in that time slot as well, but the patient takes up only half the slot and there is a light blue colored rectangle for the other half of the time slot.
Puzzled ??
