I’ve done an OpenEMR install afresh on an Ubuntu Server and have followed instructions on http://www.open-emr.org/wiki/index.php/Pharmacy_Dispensary_Module to setup the items to sell in the Pharmacy.
While the list of drugs shows up in the “in-house --or select from inventory–”, whenever I “save and dispense”, the Quantity-on-Hand in the inventory does not reduce.
Also, Reports >> Inventory >> Transactions does not show any sales reflected.
Update:
I’ve tried the save and dispense on the OpenEMR online demo and it works fine.
Now when comparing, I see that when I click the save and dispense on the online demo, it brings up the pop-up for the prescription label while on my install the prescription label pop-up doesn’t come.
My pop up for the prescription label isn’t opening. I have tried enabling pop ups but it still hasn’t appeared. It works fine on the demo though. Any help would be appreciated.
When I add a prescription the Pop up box for the prescription doesn’t appear and the stock inventory does not increase. I have gone through previous solutions to this problem listed on the forum but nothing has worked. Pop ups are allowed, I have read the pharmacy dispensary module information and I have included all drug information including the NDC. I am able to do the above in the demo following the same steps. What am I missing?
After clicking the Save and Dispense button in the Dispensary module, a dialog for a prescription label should appear.
This indicates a successful dispensation.
If the dialog for the label does not appear, check the browser setting and enable popups.
If On Hand, in configuration of the Dispensary module, is left as zero; when the Save and Dispense button is clicked, a dialog will appear, warning the user that there is no inventory; therefore this function cannot be completed.
N.B.: On hand number will not decrease without the generation of the prescription label.
