Situation
Need help importing patient demographics from Medisoft into OpenEMR. Would be helpful to have OpenEMR template if available.

OpenEMR Version
I’m using OpenEMR version 7.02 but will be updating to 8

I’m using: Brave

Operating System
I’m using: Ubuntu

Hi Lona Hopefu,

I think we have two possible approaches:

  1. Map the data from Medisoft to OpenEMR and import it directly.
  2. If Medisoft supports the FHIR R4 standard, we can access the data through its FHIR endpoints and import it into OpenEMR, which would be the preferred and more standardized approach.

We are attempting to map the data, we exported and cleaned up the file from Medisoft, now it is a matter of mapping the tables to input into openemr.
