Our office runs OpenEMR

Version Number: v4.2.2

on Ubuntu

We have a very small office, we run a tight relatively fast passed organization. It is the Dr and myself. When I click on Patients to look up my next patient, I always immediately start typing. Of course when I look up I realize I need to click in the box. Is there a way to have this happen or written into the program? We love your program and are so thankful to be able to use it~!

If I understand you correctly, when you use the patient finder you want the search field to automatically “focus” on the Full Name field right after you click on “Patients”?

Yes I would like that and I know the Dr would too. Thank you for taking the time to read my query.

I’m on my way out the door but this is a simple fix. Do you have the community version of OpenEMR or do you have customizations?
