Job Description

A Full stack software developer specializing in PHP web development with 5 to 7 years of experience, especially on OpenEMR. Self-motivated and proactive candidates are strongly preferred.

Mandatory Skills

Strong healthcare domain knowledge with hands on skills with OpenEMR

PHP Web Development

MySQL

JD

  1. Change look & feel of the OpenEMR screens

  2. Develop new features in openemr

  3. Integrate OpenEMR with the best open source system or develop from scratch or integrate with another vendor’s system.

  4. Systems to be integrated as described in #2 above eRx, eLabs, EHR, other EMRs

  5. Integrate OpenEMR with a patient portal or develop from scratch

  6. Candidate must have worked on OpenEMR extensively. Candidate must be familiar with the open source or 3rd party options for eRx, eLabs and offer recommendations from among the options available. Candidate must have extensive domain knowledge about the EMR requirements and usage by the clinics.

Responsibilities

Enhance existing OpenEMR PHP web application

Develop new features in openemr

Testing

Experience in managing cross-functional projects and leading technical teams of varying sizes.
