I just installed the PCLinux OS distro of Linux on a new Dell Optiplex 320 (google linux Optiplex 320 and see what a b*tch it is to get Linux going esp if using GRUB). Many distro’s dont work but I used lilo as boot loader and all seems ok. Then I installed the Linux version of  XAMPP very easily. Finally I installed Open Emr into LAMPP/htdocs/openemr and all appears to b fine!

I am considering adding SQL-Ledger but not really sure what extra functionality it adds. I understand many of the accounting features are now part of Open EMR itself. any comments?

Does anyone use anatomical figures in their charting? I’d like to have a blank figure (adam.jpg) that can be opened for any/all patients, annotated and then saved in the patient’s “chart.” Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Currently SQL-Ledger is necessary if you want things related to money to work.  Billing, payments, A/R, etc.  We’d like to eliminate the dependency, but nobody is sponsoring that yet.
