OpenEMR <> HL7 Inbound / Outbound Capability for Orders / Results

Does OpenEMR have the capability to provide the HL7 formatted data for the Orders placed in the system?
And similarly, if I have HL7 results - will I be able to ingest into OpenEMR?

Any additional plugins needed for this or by default - this is the capability?
If you can, please share any article or URL where it mentions - how it is done?

I plan to place Order in OpenEMR, push the generated HL7 message into Mirth server.
Unable to get the HL7 in place though.

In OpenEMR, you could configure it to generate HL7 messages for orders placed in the system and to ingest HL7 results.
You can create mirth channel to send/receive HL7 messages between source/destination.
OpenEMR is having options to create ORM messages.
Patient>Encounters/New Encounter form>Orders>Procedure Order.
