Hi Sandra,

That sounds like an amazing idea. As with most OpenSource projects the documentation can be a bit lacking.
Lately I have been focused on documenting things on the youtube channel.

But I agree the written documentation could use significant work too.

I believe OpenEMR is currently planning to apply for the Google Season of Docs program to help get some technical writers/students involved in the project and documentation.

Technical Writer Opportunities

EDIT: Christine is not going to pursue tech writing. This work can still be done (very important). Please read through the thread to get an idea if you’re interested. Christine, an up and coming Technical Writer, has offered to join our community to aide in the improvement of our documentation. I have informed her that the Wiki is the main outlet for this and there are areas of opportunity there. Let’s list out areas of the Wiki Christine can begin to work on. Thanks, Matthew
