General discussion on versioning and breaking changes. Next generation of modules will at some point imply a break for module authors, but will also define a stable set of contracts/interfaces that module maintainers can rely on.
Chris provided update on UI updates; ready-for-review imminent. Will modernize a lot of tooling for frontend builds as well.
Long discussion about the database, migrations, utf8, etc. We believe there should actually be a relatively straightforward path to get everything to modern character sets and encoding throughout.

- Follow up on banner module (system checks, etc)
- Once we get more progress on the new modules system, where would “official” module code live?
