Open emr is very slow

Hello,
I just installed openemr 5.0.1 and its very very slow.
Please what can be done to make it fast.

i am using xampp version 3.2.2, php 5.6.23 and phpmyadmin 4.5.1 on a corei5 4Gig of RAM system.

hi @aterad, please try to tune your my.ini like is suggested here

I change to a ssd media and it improved a lot the velocity of Open EMR in localhost
