How can I backup OEMR data every hour?

I think Dr. Bowen has an interesting story about hourly backups.

Hi,

Currently OpenEMR supports manual backup process.  To create an automatic job of taking backup on hourly basis, just write a script and put it in cron.hourly

Thanks

Some information about the system you’re running OpenEMR would be helpful in determining what might work best to meet your needs.  e.g., backup methods vary greatly between Linux & Windows, so backing up or replicating your data will be accomplished by completely different mechanisms based on your OS, type of storage, etc.

if I start a manually backup can other users/computers have access to OpenEMR?

@octort: Without the errors posted it will be very difficult to help you out.
