New Visit not in Billing

Hi

   When an authorized provider create a New Visit (Patient->Visit->New Visit), it does not appear on the billing form (Fees->Billing) for the Biller to code.

What causes this and what is the work-around?

Perhaps no coding was entered?  The Billing page shows visits that have billing codes.

Now that I think about it,  if you make an appointment, set the patient to arrived the encounter (Id-encounter) is generated.  This does not seem to occur if it is a New Visit.  Maybe the New Visit should create the encounter? Is not a Visit an encounter?

Yes a visit is an encounter and the purpose of New Visit is to create one.  I can’t imagine why it would not be working.

Yes you guys are right…I tested both.  I tested on my test environments and then I went back and tested on their installationn.  IT does work.  Now I need to figure out what the doctor did so that happend.
