Dear All,
Is open EMR capable of integrating with Australia’s new national e-health system? I am running it on a stand-alone Windows 8 laptop and the Xampp package installed fine. But to connect to the e-health system and upload files, there are standards published by the National Ehealth Transition authority (NEHTA) at http://www.ehealth.gov.au. The commercially available softwares to connect to ehealth in Australia are few and far apart and are rapidly catching up. It would be fantastic to have openemr connect to this. I would greatly appreciate the developer’s input into this issue. Cheers.

I forgot to add the site that publishes the standards and technical specifications for conformant HIS to communicate with the eheath PCEHR (Personally controlled electronic health record):

The site requires a basic registration to obtain the resources.
