When we were searching for clearinghouses 2 years ago, ZirMed charged per claim. Today their website is not as forthcoming about their pricing as it had been in the past. Generally if a website says to contact them for a price quote, it’s not cheap.
We also looked into EZClaim, which is just billing/posting software. Clearinghouse service is not included. Electronic claims will cost a minimum of $49/month, cloud based.
OpenEMR’s modules for claim submission and payment posting work very well. Sending the 837’s to Office Ally is seamless. CMS 1500 submission is simple. Can’t beat the price of OpenEMR.
It’s been 1 1/2 years and still no statement to-date from Office Ally for their clearinghouse service. A number of us are like the Millenials, who dislike paying for anything if at all possible.
The Office Ally website is rather ho-hum, but well organized and replete with information. Form follows function.
Office Ally support is helpful and competent.
