LBV Layout based forms, what am I doing wrong?

New user, starting off with 5.0.1. It looks like some of the documentation is out of date, so I am tinkering when necessary but unable to figure out this one. I want to try to make an LBV. Following the instructions, I should choose Administration->lists->LBV forms, but there is no LBV forms item, instead there is LBF_Validations.

It seems I am already off track here. What’s on that LBF_Validations page looks nothing like what’s on the LBV forms page in the video demos, although the ones of those I have seen were produced by older versions.

Am I missing some configuration to get LBV to show up?

EDIT: Never mind. Documentation and videos are partially out of date. FWIW: If you’re new like me, here’s a shortcut. These forms are now created at Administration->Layouts. See this link:

LBF creation missing from 5.0.1 release

The LBF option in the Administration-Lists menu is missing. Has it been relocated?

Then proceed as in the video guides and wiki.

I am in a similar situation. I went to Administration>>Lists there is no Edit button. So I cannot go to the page that has layout base form.
