LBF image canvas bug?

Situation
I have a LBF which contains an image canvas for drawing sketches. This has been working perfectly for the last 6 months or so, however I think since updating to 8.0.1 it will only capture 2-3 lines before I am unable to draw further lines on the canvas. I can undo lines and draw another one, but it will not let me draw more than three separate lines.

Is this a known bug with the 8.0.1 update? Or has anybody else noticed this?

I am still having this issue, and wondering if others are as well. I use this feature to sketch coronary angiograms, however since upgrading to 8.0 have been unable to use the image canvas. It sometimes captures a few lines, but idiosyncratically will not capture all of the lines I attempt to draw.

Hoping someone else has observed this behaviour, or even better, has a fix.
