I wanted to know if it’s possible to have pre-defined (“ready”) lab test panels or orders in OpenEMR, rather than having to add each test type individually every time.
I put a custom group and test feature a few years ago.
I call it Favorites so user can create a panel of tests which will insert all the tests in the panel when selected in procedure order.
Thanks Jerry i was wondring if somone built before to show all test name rather than enterying it manually.
What happend wit my old openemr it got corputed due to some issue with SQL i had added things manually
Oh you seek a compendium. Difficult to get because many are proprietary.
Look into LOINC for panels of common tests and you may be able to dev an import.
Maybe you want to sign up for our DORN we need someone to be the first and what’s nice with that is you’ll have all of our attention to ensure a proper turn up.

Do you have a functioning clinic that does or will use labs?
The DORN feature is in master now and becomes available in our next release or patch and nope, sorry, we haven’t decided when yet.
