Keeping track of hearing aid sales

Hello everybody,

I’m looking to customize OpenEMR for an audiology clinic.
One of the main things they require is an inventory of hearing aids, as well as the ability to generate sales for them.

I’m currently looking at the XML form generator as a solution, but am wondering if anyone more experienced than myself has any suggestions.

Hi…

You can try the inventory module which is built into openemr. To activate
inventory module, click on administration ->global-> features-> select use
inventory from drop down list. Save it. Then in the left nav menu you will
find inventory tab. Click and keep on adding stuffs. When u do a sale of
the hearing aid…remember to do it from the prescription module and click
save and dispense. That will cause the inventory stock to decrease as per
your sales.
