We’re trying to figure out a way to do an itemized ledger, preferably broken down by date, showing all the charges/payments/whatever for dates, along with a description for each line item. Right now we can get something moderately close by pulling an EoB for all dates of service for a patient, but that seems to just show procedure codes under the descriptions.
So is this something that’s in the system that we’re overlooking, or do we need to look to have someone work something up for us?
This is something we use often in our practice. The ledger can be found in Fees > Billing > EOBs (to the right of search criteria). Search for a patient then select the dates you wish to include on the ledger.
Unfortunately, the description of procedures is not included. It will only show the CPT code billed. You would need to do some customization of /sites/default/statement.inc.php to add code descriptions.
Edit: I should have read your entire post. Seems you already found the EOB ledger.
