Why not just use the web interface of OpenEMR to input this data?
Google has abandoned the ‘Browser’ that is built into the android devices, have you tried using chrome?
FWIW, I am currently cleaning up a branch of OpenEMR that does not have any popups, so as to make use of tablet and phone devices much easier.

I use an Android table with a keyboard attached (Asus Transformer Prime) with the Chrome browser. It works quite well.

OK, I hereby revoke my endorsement of an Android tablet for use with OpenEMR. I’ve switched to a laptop (Ubuntu). It’s faster, but in response-speed and in the way I interact with the UI (mousing is faster than touching the screen).
