Invalid username or password on new install of openemr-5.0.2.tar.gz

Situation
This is a new install of OpenEMR using Ubuntu Linux. When installation and setup completes, I am unable to login using the Administrator username and password I specified. I have read many of the complaints in the forums but none of them address my problem.

You may have pushed the envelope too far. Are you using desktop or server?

Are you sure you want to have your OpenEMR available on the open web and to be announcing its address and port on an open forum?

Hi Pete, yes, this shouldn’t be a problem for now, since we are just evaluating the software. I see from multiple threads that this is an issue. I am not alone here. People complain about installing the software and not been able to login once installed.

I am using server. What do you mean push the envelop too far. Version wise?
